Department of Psychology was established in 2019 and offers a Bachelor of Science program, providing a robust platform for students to explore behavior and mental processes. Covering various branches like general, social, abnormal, counseling, developmental, and health psychology along with human physiology and statistics, it aims to empower students with a profound understanding of human nature. Through a student-centric approach, the department cultivates dynamic individuals equipped to contribute positively to society. Moreover, it operates a counseling cell, extending emotional and psychological support to students, further enhancing their holistic development and well-being
VISION
To provide a life-oriented education for students that empower them to understand the essence of human nature and respond relevantly to various patterns of human behavior. The department aims to cultivate a generation of dynamic individuals who foster love, care, and ingenuity for the betterment of society.
MISSION
To teach at the undergraduate, conduct research, and train students in various areas of psychology. This includes providing an integrative and inclusive educational experience, and fostering respect for differences among people. The mission also encompasses advancing knowledge about mind, brain, and behavior, understanding and improving the human condition, and valuing diversity and inclusion.
